High above Buxton is Solomon’s Temple, a folly which provides a panoramic view of Buxton and the surrounding hills.

2nd September 2015   We walked around Buxton – a spa town which is over 1,000 feet above sea level

In the Pavilion Gardens (opened in 1871) is a lovely sculpture – click the pictures to enlarge. You have to look all around it, as there are so many characters
