The Great Lake

There was a devastating fire in the central part of the house in 1940 and the dome collapsed

The dome was rebuilt in 1960-2

The Chapel is in the west wing which was added in the mid 1700s and was originally a dining room.

We went on to Sheffield for the night, then stopped at Royal Leamington Spa on the last day of our holiday, but it was raining so Hetty doesn’t have any photos.
