A huge Palladium House (private) in huge landscaped gardens, with follies
and a mock castle on the top of the hill with views all the way round.
It is a good time to see the rhododendrons and bluebells.
Nearby is Chittlehampton, a pretty village with thatched cottages and stocks
The next day was wet and windy all day so we went to Tiverton, where there is an interesting museum
