The Wrekin

6th September 2021 morning                          5.4 miles                   Map of walk

In the morning we hiked 1,000ft up onto the Wrekin. On a clear day you are supposed to be able to see to 17 counties – but it was misty, so we didn’t.

On top was a hill fort in the late Bronze Age and Iron Age

Going up was fine, but we came down the other side which was very steep and gravel, so very slippery

Next: Weston Park
