Hever Castle

We visited Hever Castle on our way home from Sussex.

The origins of the castle lie in the 13th century, and it was Anne Boleyn’s home as a child, but it was restored and extended by the Astor family in the early 1900s, so that is what we see today.

It was a grey day, which gave the lake an ethereal quality
