We went to their Heritage Open Day

The Royal Agricultural College was built on a farm and it includes the original farmhouse. It opened in 1845 and became a university in 2013

Large crowds welcome their majesties in drenching rain.The alterations and additions to the college were expeditiously carried out by Messrs. Orchard and Peer, the well-known builders and contractors of Stroud under the superintendence of the architect, Mr V A Lawson, of Cirencester and Stroud.
