A walk with the Cotswold Wardens on a lovely sunny spring morning.                   Map of walk

Tetbury Market House

We met in the centre of Tetbury, near Shaun the Sheep

The stream flows over the road at Cutwell

A phoenix on a column – the only part of Highgrove we saw (Prince Charles’ house)

Rebuilding a drystone wall – it is an art

Elmstree House

Lots of gulls in this field until the horse started running around

Entrance to Westonbirt House (now a school) – once home to the Holfords, who founded the arboretum opposite

The Hare and Hounds [right]

Entrance to Elmstree House (that we passed earlier)

Doughton

Their were 40 of us on the walk – rather a lot when crossing stiles!

Horseshoe art.                                                                                  Reflection in a pond

Lots of blossom

Former Toll House, Bath Road – but there was an older one on the old road.

Old road over the old bridge and the huge ‘new’ bridge

St Mary’s Church, rebuilt 1777.              More signs of spring – the leaves are starting to grow
