The Cotswold Hare Trail hasn’t started yet, but this one is already out

The Game Larder – used to have mesh sides and hooks to store game

The church next door

The castle was breached in the Civil War, and must not be repaired

The 12th century keep replaced an 11th century motte and bailey castle. The buildings around the inner courtyard were added in the 14th century

The entrance to the keep is up these stairs

and through this old doorway

The swimming pool, now pond
