4.7 miles             Map of walk

We parked by Lulworth Cove on a lovely sunny morning

First we saw Stair Hole

Lulworth Cove

Then we walked through West Lulworth village and on to the ridge, where we could see the Isle of Portland

and back down to the cliffs, where we had our picnic

Behind the highest cliff is Bat’s hole

Durdle Door

Man O’War beach

then back down to Lulworth

Next we went to Lulworth Castle

The castle had a devastating fire in 1929. The outside has been restored, but not inside

In one tower there is a staircase to the top, so you can see the views

We could see Poole Harbour

St Mary’s Chapel- Roman Catholic

St Andrew’s Church

The stables

Next place: Swanage
