6th to 13th March 2018

After our week at Puerto de la Cruz, we stayed for a week here and explored the south of Tenerife.

Los Cristianos was an old fishing port, which in the late 1950s/early 1960s started to be developed into a tourist resort for disabled people. After the south airport was built the city grew, as the beaches are huge, so most of it is modern.

We stayed on the edge of the town, part way up the volcano at the back. It was higher up than we expected, so was a steep walk back at the end of the day

We loved the sand sculptures

We saw some good sunsets

There were tall and short palm trees

Next – Los Gigantes to Alcala
